Outings

A variety of different tours, outings and activities are organised to meet the varied interests of club members. See Club Outings  Policy.

If you require a Probus Injury and Accident Form as the result of an injury at an outing, please access the form by clicking this link to insurance form or contact the Secretary secretary@probusbp.org

Booking Information
The electronic booking form is available as a link. A booking becomes a commitment to pay for the outing. Members have booking preference for all tours outings and activities. If there are vacancies available for a specific outing, then this will be announced and members may be able to invite guests or partners who are not members.

The Club has extended the Probus insurance to cover guests and non-members attending Club organised tours and activities.

Payments
Generally, outings payments are required two months in advance. For theatre outings payment may be required well in advance to secure bookings. In the event of insufficient numbers for an outing to proceed, payments will be refunded.

Payments are made at the monthly general meetings and can be done from 9.30am (before the meeting) and at morning tea by using supplied envelopes. Payment can be made by cheque, cash and in some cases by EFT.

A cheque or the exact cash amount is to be placed in a completed Probus envelope and handed in at monthly meetings. Please make sure to enter all the requested information on the envelope. Exact cash is to be put in the envelope as no change is given. Cheques are payable to the Probus Club of Breakfast Point.

If making a payment by EFT:
Commonwealth Bank, Concord
Bank Account: Probus Club of Breakfast Point
BSB: 062-145
Acct No: 1022 5641
The deposit reference field MUST have your surname, first name initial and a reference to the Outing e.g. J Cox Hunter Valley. Couples put both initials eg J-M Cox Hunter Valley.

Refunds
Refunds may not be possible unless a replacement is found. In some cases, a refund may be made depending on the terms of bookings with third parties or where a trip/outing is cancelled.

Propose an Outing

All members are encouraged to propose and organise outings. These may be single day trips by coach, car or public transport; theatre outings or longer travel tours  requiring overnight accommodation.

To propose an outing convenors should complete and submit the ‘Propose an Outing’ form found on either the Snapshot page or the Home page. They should provide detailed information and plans.
